The winter weather in Wisconsin has surely kept things interesting for our Elm Lawn scholars the past few weeks, as we have had to navigate a series of snow days in the district. Despite the disruptions, we have enjoyed a series of successful events. Many of our students enjoyed class field trips to the Overture Center to see the UW Band perform. The third grade students missed this planned performance due to one of our snow days, unfortunately, though we hope to have a new field trip planned for them soon! Additionally, we hosted a very successful Science Fair at the school on February 15th, with 181 students registered for the event. We appreciate all of the support from Jenny Conner and Tony Bitner for coordinating and Ashley Weber for serving as the school Science Fair Liason, as well as all of the families and students for creating such engaging projects. We have several upcoming events to put on your calendar!

1. There is a fundraiser in April at Culvers. Plan to take your family for a fun and easy dinner and earn money for the school!

3. The Talent Show this year will be on April 12, 2023.
4. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8-12, 2023
5. The biggest fundraiser of the year, the Hot Dog Hustle, will be on May 10, 2023.
